1. About these terms

Sakura Bridge is a dating and matchmaking platform that connects Japanese and Asian members with European members who share their interests. These terms are the agreement between you and Sakura Bridge covering your use of the platform.

By creating an account you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use Sakura Bridge.

2. Who can join

You must be at least 18 years old to create a profile. By registering you confirm that you are 18 or over. We remove accounts that we believe belong to anyone under 18, and we may ask for proof of age.

You must be legally able to enter into this agreement, and you must not have been previously removed from Sakura Bridge.

3. Your account

• Give accurate information about yourself, including your real age and location.
• Keep your login details private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One account per person. Do not create accounts on behalf of anyone else.
• Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.

4. Memberships and payments

Sakura Bridge offers Bronze, Gold, and Platinum memberships, each covering a fixed period of access. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

A membership begins when your payment is confirmed and runs for the period you purchased. Memberships do not renew automatically.

You can also buy a one-time pack of chat tokens. Tokens are a credit used to start conversations and have no cash value. They are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for money.

5. Loyalty tokens

Members with an active membership receive a small number of free chat tokens every 30 days as a loyalty reward. Loyalty tokens are granted at our discretion and the programme may change or end.

6. Community rules

Sakura Bridge only works if members treat each other well. You must not:

• Harass, threaten, stalk, or abuse another member.
• Post photos that are not of you, or that are sexually explicit or violent.
• Impersonate anyone, or create a profile designed to deceive.
• Ask other members for money, gifts, or financial details.
• Advertise, promote, or solicit for any business or service.
• Share another member's private information without their consent.
• Use the platform if you are under 18, or help anyone under 18 to use it.

7. Reporting and blocking

Every member profile has a Report option and a Block option. Reporting sends the profile to our team for review. Blocking hides that member from your Discover and Matches and prevents them from messaging you. You can unblock a member at any time from your own profile.

We may remove content, suspend, or permanently close any account that breaches these terms. Where appropriate we may report unlawful behaviour to the relevant authorities.

8. Content you post

You keep ownership of the photos and text you upload. You give us permission to host and display that content for the purpose of running the platform. You confirm that you have the right to share everything you upload.

Do not upload anything that is unlawful, offensive, or that you do not have permission to use.

9. Closing your account

You may stop using Sakura Bridge at any time. If you would like your profile and personal data deleted, contact us and we will action the request in line with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms. If we close your account for a breach, payments already made are not refunded.

10. Disclaimers

We work hard to keep Sakura Bridge safe, but we do not carry out criminal background checks on members and we cannot guarantee the accuracy of what members tell us. You are responsible for your own decisions about meeting other members, and we recommend meeting in a public place and telling someone where you are going.

The platform is provided as it is. We do not promise uninterrupted availability.

11. Our liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the conduct of other members, whether online or in person. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform develops. We will show the date of the latest version at the top of this page, and we will tell members about significant changes before they take effect.

13. Contact

Questions about these terms, or a request about your account, can be sent to us using the Report option on any profile, or by replying to any email we send you. We aim to respond within 30 days.
